Early on day 3 of our trip on VIA’s The Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver began with an early morning arrival at Edmonton, Alberta we then traveled from the plains up into the Canadian Rockies through Jasper National Park. Here are some of the pictures I took from the train:

  1. An Alberta farm

2.  The Canadian Rockies ahead

3.  Entering Jasper National Park

4.  Mount Robson – the highest peak in the Rockies – 3,954 meters.

5.  Columbia Icefield – Jasper National Park
